Ten years ago, LabLENI participated in the development of a virtual reality application for the international Mars500 program, promoted by the European Space Agency and the Institute of Medical and Biological Problems, under the Russian Academy of Sciences. Over 520 days, 6 astronauts participated in the first real-time simulation of a manned mission to Mars.
Starting from that project, the LabLENI team is now working on its update, for which it has devised a new system to improve the psychological well-being of the population during these weeks of confinement in our homes.
