The Institute for Research and Innovation in Bioengineering (i3B) of the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), through the spin-off Quantechnion SL, together with Turisme València, from the Technological Institute of Tourism of the Valencian Community (Invat ) and the Valencia City Council, with Visit València, have organized a day to publicize, test and enjoy the latest technologies applied to the tourism sector in a practical and immersive way.
The Experience Lab Day will take place on October 7, at the Polytechnic City of Innovation (CPI) and aims to show the technicians of the Network of Smart Tourist Destinations of the Valencian Community (Red DTI-CV), through experimentation, the latest developments in technological innovation and its application to the tourism sector in an environment of international reference.
The session has been structured in three demonstrations, each with small groups and in different spaces: application of neuromarketing in the field of neuro-evaluation of tourism campaigns (Neuromarketing Lab), virtual reality and extended realities applied to tourism (Extended Realities Lab) and Phygital, the new way of promoting the tourist offer (Cube Inmersive Experience Space).
In each of these demonstrations, the participants will have the opportunity to experience the possibilities that technology offers to the digitization of the tourism sector in the Valencian Community.
The event will be attended by the UPV Vice-Rector for Innovation and Transfer; Salvador Coll and the regional secretary of Tourism; Francesc Colomer, from the General Director of Tourism; Herick Manuel Campos and the director of Invat · tur; Francisco Juan Martínez, representing the Generalitat Valenciana.
